FREMONT, CA — Halloween, the night to put on your best walking shoes and spookiest costumes, is almost here.
But if you can't wait for Oct. 31, or make it to Universal Studios' Horror Nights in Los Angeles for a fright night, Fremont has a "spook-tacular" event in store.
The annual Trick-or-Treat event at the Downtown Event Center and Plaza in Fremont returns Friday from 5 to 9 p.m., city officials said.
The popular event has already sold out of its indoor trick-or-treating experience, but there are plenty of other activities, including carnival games, line dancing and bounce houses, officials said.
"Enjoy an evening of music, food trucks, community booths, a costume contest, photo opportunities, and plenty of seasonal fun," city officials said. "Be sure to explore participating Downtown businesses for even more Halloween treats and fun throughout the evening!"
The Downtown Event Center is located at 3500 Capitol Ave.
