Another Earthquake Rattles Bay Area
Three earthquakes hit Tuesday morning, all centered in the same location.
FREMONT, CA — Three earthquakes have hit Milpitas and shaken surrounding communities Tuesday morning, the United States Geological Survey is reporting. A 3.3 earthquake hit at 9:02 a.m. following a 3.0 magnitude earthquake that was reported at 8:36 a.m., 20 minutes after a 2.7 temblor hit in the same location.
There haven't been any reports of injuries or damage due to the earthquakes.
There has been a swarm of earthquakes that have hit Milpitas recently, with 5 recorded on Sunday. The largest was 3.5, upgraded from an initial report of 3.4.
