Blood Drive Planned In Fremont Next Week

FREMONT, CA — If a little voice in your head is nagging your that you should donate blood, it will be easy next week. The Blood Mobile will be at Pacific Commons on Friday, April 12, from noon to 4 p.m. at the Block Near Dick’s Sporting Goods.

Here are some stats from the American Red Cross to motivate you...someone in the U.S. needs blood every two seconds...more than 36,000 units of red blood cells are needed every day in this country...an estimated 4.5 million Americans would die each year without life-saving blood transfusions. In fact, the Red Cross says that your single donation can save as many as three lives.

The donation process takes about 10 minutes.
