Bobcat Checks Out Photographer At Sabercat Creek: Photo Of The Day
This cat looked directly at the photographer.

FREMONT, CA — Jim Erickson took this remarkable photo of a bobcat at 8 a.m. last Saturday. He has spotted a bobcat in the same general area several times before, even sharing a photo with Patch readers in the past. According to Jim, "It almost seemed to be posing as it was not in a hurry to depart and I was able to get several pictures." Whether the animal is just familiar with Jim or has become accustomed to all humans is not immediately known, but other photographers hoping to see a bobcat may want to check out this trail.
Sabercat Historical Park is at Quema Drive & Paseo Padre Parkway in Fremont.
Thank you for the photo and information!
