Boozy Burglars: Cops Say Thieves Make Off With $4K in Alcohol

The suspects smashed the front window of the business in the 5100 block of Mowry Avenue, according to police.

Police are investigating the burglary of a Fremont store early Saturday in which thousands of dollars worth of alcohol was allegedly taken. At 12:47 a.m., officers responded to a burglary alarm at a business in the 5100 block of Mowry Avenue, according to police.

Officers arrived to find the front window of the business had been smashed. A significant amount of high-end wine and whiskey was taken, police said. The store’s employees estimate the loss to be valued at more than $4,000, police said.
