Bougainvillea In Riotous Bloom: Photo Of The Day
The photographer was captivated by the color of these flowers.

FREMONT, CA — Huy Nguyen was captivated by these flowers blooming this spring in Fremont. Huy told Patch in an email, "The climate of San Francisco's Bay Area is perfect for growing this beautiful ornamental plant. This is why we often find these flowering plants decorating the front yards of many homes throughout the Bay Area. However, those flowers are often of red, pink, or orange varieties. It's rare to find purple Bougainvillea flowers. That was why when I stumbled across these purple Bougainvillea flowers on the front yard of a home in Fremont, I quickly snapped a photo of them for souvenir."
They are beautiful! Thank you for sharing them with Patch readers!
