Busy Stretch Of Mowry Avenue Under Construction

FREMONT, CA — A busy stretch of Mowry Avenue in Fremont is under construction, and drivers can expect lane closures on weekdays between now and Dec. 7. The construction is taking place between Farwell Drive and Logan Drive.

The plan is to close one lane of traffic in each direction during the following hours:

• Monday thru Thursday: 8:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.
• Friday – 8:30 a.m. - 3 p.m.

The City of Fremont is doing a Water Conservation and Median Upgrades Project. When finished, you’ll see new shrubs and trees, paving, and ornamental boulders which will reduce the water usage in the medians.
