Fremont, CA – The 33rd Festival of India Mela & Parade, organized by the Festival of Globe (FOG), will return to Fremont on August 16–17, 2025. This two-day celebration of Indian Independence Day will feature cultural performances, a grand parade, live music, dance, authentic Indian food, shopping, and family activities.

The parade, led by Bollywood actress Bhagyashree as Grand Marshal, takes place on Sunday, August 17 at 11 a.m. at 39439 Paseo Padre Parkway. Tickets are $5 (early bird until Aug. 1) and $6 thereafter, available at EventMozo.com/FogMela.

Event organizers invite the Bay Area community to join in celebrating India’s heritage in the heart of Silicon Valley.
