Mark your calendar: Prince of Peace's Community Fall Festival is happening Saturday, October 31, from 3:00 to 5:00 PM, and everyone is welcome, our POP families, your cousins, friends, and neighbors from all across Fremont.
This is one of our favorite afternoons of the year, a chance for our whole community to slow down, step outside, and simply have fun together. There will be trunk-or-treating with decorated cars from our 5th through 8th graders and church community, so kids can go car to car collecting treats in a safe, supervised space. Little ones and big kids alike will find plenty to do with lively games and bounce houses. Warm up with a sampling of chili at our chili cook-off, take a spin at the cake walk for a chance to win a homemade treat, and enjoy our nacho bar and candy along the way.
We have designed this festival to be safe, joyful, and welcoming for families of every background, culture, and belief. Costumes are welcome and encouraged for the kids, but we do ask that they stay lighthearted; please skip anything scary, bloody, or ghostly, so the day feels warm and fun for every family that joins us.
Wristbands are $5 per person and required to participate in games and activities, purchased the day of the event.
Whether you are already part of our church family, a school parent, or a neighbor who has never set foot on our campus, we would genuinely love to meet you. No RSVP is required, just show up. Bring your kids, bring a friend, invite the family down the street, and come build some fall memories with us. The festival runs rain or shine, so dress for the weather; parking is available across the street at Washington High School.
