Illustrations may be done using markers, crayons, colored pencils, chalk, or paint (Please note that some types of paint may not transfer nicely to a digital image). Colors should be dark and bright to properly transfer to digital image. Drawing must be vertical on paper (portrait orientation); horizontal (landscape orientation) will be disqualified. Plain white copy paper, size 8.5” x 11” must be used, heavy construction/card stock and paper of a different size will be disqualified.

For sample artwork from previous years’ submissions, please visit www.ohloneforkids.com.

REQUIREMENTS: All submissions require an Official Entry Form that can be found on the Ohlone for Kids website. The entrant’s name, grade and school name should also be written the back of the drawing along with a completed entry form. By entering this contest, all entries will become the sole property of the Ohlone for Kids program and will not be returned. Participant art may be used for future advertising for the Ohlone for Kids program. Incomplete, illegible, or inappropriate entries will not be accepted. All finalist artwork, name and grade will be displayed on the Ohlone for Kids website.

All entries must be received no later than the end of business (5:00 PM) on November 28, 2014. There is no limit for entries per person.

PRIZES: One first place winner will be awarded with four (4) complimentary summer classes and will be featured on the cover page for the 2015 catalog. Second and third places will be awarded two (2) complimentary summer classes and will be displayed on the OFK website and on the back page of the 2015 catalog.
