Join us at the City Council meeting on Tuesday, September 7 at 7:00 pm as the Fremont City Council receives an update of the Parks and Recreation Master Plan. The presentation will cover progress on the project, picking up where the previous update left off, including peer city benchmarking, survey-result priorities for facilities and program investments, the Recreation Program Plan, the Maintenance Management Plan, and the Levels of Service and Equity Mapping.

You can watch the February 16, 2021 City Council Special Meeting Work Session, which covered a summary of the project completed to date, including community outreach efforts and the preliminary results of the statically valid Parks and Recreation Needs Assessment survey.

The Parks and Recreation Master Plan will provide guidance on how to meet the demands for future recreational, programming, environmental, and maintenance needs, as well as to establish priorities and funding strategies for facility improvements, future park and trail development, and land acquisition.
