Fremont Winter Relief Assistance

Families with minor children, the medically vulnerable, and those on a pathway to permanent housing will be prioritized.

This year, the City of Fremont has made the difficult, yet informed, decision to transition away from a traditional congregant, Winter Shelter program and provide Winter Relief assistance in the form of temporary hotel stays.

Families with minor children, the medically vulnerable, and those on a pathway to permanent housing will be prioritized.

The Winter Relief program is modeled from the successful Project Roomkey program, which served over 2,000 individuals countywide during the COVID-19 pandemic. Program participants will be referred by their existing social service teams.
