Fremont, CA (January 20, 2015) – For the past twelve years Jennifer Berryman and her sister Jessica Thomas, owners of Comfort Keepers in Fremont, Pleasanton, and Walnut Creek have dedicated themselves to providing seniors and other area residents with exceptional in-home care services, while establishing themselves as one of the leading service providers of in home care in the East Bay. Jennifer, Jessica, and their expert home care coordination team have helped thousands of seniors in the area live happier, healthier lives safely within their own homes and are proud to announce this is their Twelfth Year serving seniors and improving lives.
Having started Comfort Keepers in Fremont and expanding to Pleasanton and Walnut Creek, Jennifer and Jessica believe that much of their success can be traced back to the mission of Comfort Keepers - to provide each client with the highest level of quality of life that is achievable. “We owe our success to the families who initially made the decision to put their trust in Comfort Keepers to care for a disabled or elderly loved one. We are very proud of our reputation, growth and success but mostly we are grateful for the daily opportunity to make a difference in someone’s life,” stated Thomas.
Since opening, Comfort Keepers has grown substantially each year and has been recognized by the community as a partner. Jennifer Berryman, owner of Comfort Keepers of Fremont, served as Chairperson of the Tri-City Elder Coalition (TCEC) and was involved in its merger with the City of Fremont’s Human Services Department. She also helped the TCEC secure a large grant from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, which created the Positive Pathways to Aging Initiative. Her efforts were recognized by Senator Liz Figueroa. As a resident of Fremont and local senior care provider, Jennifer also served on the advisory committee for BACS (Bay Area Community Services), a local non-profit organization which provides adult day care. “We take pride in making Fremont and the Tri-City a better place to live for senior citizens,” says Berryman.
