Coronavirus In Fremont: 64 Local Cases Confirmed
Alameda County is now sharing city-level data about coronavirus patients.
FREMONT, CA — There have been 64 cases of confirmed coronavirus in Fremont, the Alameda County Public Health Department reported on Thursday. The total cases in Alameda County rose to 713, while deaths increased to 17.
The City of Fremont began closing several parking lots at Central Park where popular Lake Elizabeth is located on Thursday, in a effort to keep people from driving into the area.
The City of Berkeley, which has its own health department, reported its first coronavirus death Thursday.
