Crescent Moon and Nursery Rhymes: Photo Of The Day

FREMONT, CA — This photo, taken by Praveen Bhatia, reminds me of the nursery rhyme "Hey, diddle, diddle."

At any moment, I wait for the cow to jump over the moon like in the nursery rhyme. I've never seen the morning sky so blue, and here in this photo, Bhatia captures colors and silhouettes to create a peaceful recreation of his adventures near Mission Peak.

"Off trail, Mission Peak area," Bhatia describes. "The lonesome tree, the crescent moon, a few cows peacefully grazing, at the early morning blue hour."
