Deadly Hit-And-Run Has Investigators Seeking Witnesses
A portion of Paseo Padre Parkway was closed for several hours Tuesday for the investigation.

FREMONT, CA — All lanes of Paseo Padre Parkway have reopened in Fremont following a fatal hit-and-run crash. The road was completely closed between Isherwood Way and Decoto Road for about 8 hours, according to Fremont Police.
A pedestrian was found lying in the road just before 4 a.m. near Waugh Place. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is being withheld until family has been notified.
Police have no information on the vehicle or driver. They are asking possible witnesses to contact Traffic Officer William Malcomson at 510-790-6800 or via email at Wmalcomson@fremont.gov.
