Earthquake Rattles Southeast Corner Of Alameda County
The temblor was logged Tuesday evening about 20 miles east of Fremont, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
FREMONT, CA — A 2.6-magnitude earthquake was reported Tuesday evening in the southeastern corner of Alameda County, approximately 20 miles east of Fremont, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The quake, centered at a depth of about 4 miles, was logged at 6:12 p.m. near the Santa Clara County border, the agency said.
