El Cerrito Armed Robbery Suspect Arrested
A man walking along Manila Avenue was robbed.
EL CERRITO, CA — An 18-year-old Hayward man was arrested for an armed robbery in El Cerrito, ECPD report.
The robbery happened on May 23. A man was walking in the 7200 block of Manila Avenue when he was robbed of his cell phone. The suspect fled in a vehicle, which had been reported stolen to the Hayward Police Department.
ECPD detectives identified the suspect, who was arrested the same day as he was identified. Another agency picked him up.

The man was booked into the Martinez Detention Facility on charges from the El Cerrito case.
