'Fiery Red' Mission Peak: Photo Of The Day

FREMONT, CA — Getting up early in the morning seems to have its perks.

This magnificent photo by Praveen Bhatia shows a sunrise over Mission Peak in recent days.

"When the conditions are just right - high clouds, no fog, winter months - the rising sun turns the light to a fiery red," Bhatia told Patch.
