Fire Outside Tesla Plant In Fremont Contained
Mop up operations are expected to take hours. Tesla releases a statement.

FREMONT, CA — A fire that broke out in cardboard outside the Tesla plant in Fremont has been contained by the Fremont Fire Department, according to a Tweet fromthe department. No injuries have been reported.
The fire spread to an outside, tent structure and also to nearby grass.
Mop-up operations are expected to take hours to make sure the fire doesn't smolder and reignite.

Tesla issued a statement, "This evening, some cardboard and shipping materials being prepared for recycling on our southern fence line caught fire, along with a small patch of grass next to a Tesla parking lot. The fire is now contained. We would like to thank the Fremont Fire Department for their rapid response. There are no injuries and we are investigating the cause."
The fire was reported shortly after 5:15 p.m.

Fire started in a cardboard pile outside, spread to an outside structure and started a small grass fire. Fires have been contained and we have several hours of overhaul to make sure fires are completely extinguished.
