Fire Roars Through Fire Department Building

SAN LEANDRO, CA — Flames roared through an Alameda County Fire Department building in San Leandro early Thursday, causing severe damage. Ironically, the building is at the department's Fire Training Center.

The building was the original classroom/office building.

The fire cause is under investigation.
