Firefighter Rescues Kitten From Fremont Storm Drain

This little kitten was trapped deep below a heavy grate covering the drain.

FREMONT, CA — A small kitten was rescued from a storm drain in the Ardenwood area of Fremont Tuesday evening.

Firefighter Tony Trujillo, Engineer Allan Diaz, and Captain Osh Ahmad removed the heavy grate covering the deep drain.

It was Trujillo who performed the rescue.
