Fremont Climate Action Plan Community Virtual Workshop

On Tuesday, September 22, the City of Fremont’s Community Development Department is hosting an interactive, virtual workshop to provide the Fremont community with an opportunity to learn about the City’s Climate Action Plan (CAP) update and share their vision for a sustainable community.

The workshop will include a presentation from City staff regarding the CAP update process, including an overview of the City’s goals for carbon emission reductions, climate adaptation measures, and community resilience efforts and a summary of what has been achieved under the City’s first Climate Action Plan. There will also be a group breakout session where participants can share their ideas for future sustainability efforts, priority action areas, and other relevant environmental concerns.

The Zoom meeting link and instructions on how to join will be emailed to registered attendees prior to the workshop. The workshop will also be recorded and posted online on the City’s Climate Action Plan webpage.
