
FREMONT, CA — A fire early this morning at a home in Fremont left four people displaced, a battalion chief said.
The fire was reported at 2:09 a.m. at a two-story home in the 1100 block of Bennett Court.
The blaze apparently started in an outside shed and spread to the home and attic, Fremont Fire Battalion Chief Don Linneman said.

The fire was eventually extinguished around 2:40 a.m. with no injuries reported, Linneman said.
The cause of the fire is under investigation but it is not considered suspicious, he said.
