Fremont High School Seniors: Apply For $1,000 College Scholarships
The 2023 State Bank of India (California) Scholarship Program is awarding 10 scholarships to students regardless of ethnicity.
FREMONT, CA — Ten scholarships, each worth $1,000, will be awarded to high school seniors who are enrolled in college full time this fall. Just 3 Alameda County cities are eligible — Fremont, Newark and Union City. Students in an additional four counties are also eligible.
The 2023 State Bank of India (California) Scholarship Program is partnering with the Asian Pacific Community Fund to award the scholarships.
Backers of the scholarships emphasize that students of all ethnicities may apply.

The scholarships are open to all majors.
Students must have a minimum cumulative unweighted GPA of 2.8 and have a household income at or below the Moderate or Low Income Level.

The deadline to apply for a scholarship in April 3. The application checklist includes an application form, a recommender form and you must provide a high school transcript — so don't wait until the last minute.
