(PG&E)

FREMONT, CA — More than 8,000 PG&E customers were without power in Fremont for a time Tuesday morning.

The outage started around 6:45 a.m. and affected 8,308 customers at its peak, PG&E spokeswoman Tamar Sarkissian told Bay City News. The power was restored by 9 a.m.

The Fremont Police Department reports that traffic signals were out in the impacted area. If you come across a signal that is still out, remember to "always treat a signal outage as a 4-way stop," police say.
