Fremont House Fire Displaces 5 People, Dog

No injuries were reported in the fire.

FREMONT, CA — Five people and a dog were displaced by a fire in Fremont Monday, but no injuries were reported.

The fire broke out at 2:30 a.m. on Glenview Drive, near Mowry Avenue and Blacow Road.

According to the Fremont Fire Department, the fire started in a fifth wheel trailer and spread to the garage attic area.

Firefighters were able to limit the moderate-to-heavy smoke conditions throughout the entire attic and put out the fire.

The fire was confined to the garage and partial attic living space.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Everyone in the home evacuated before the fire department arrived.

Assistance from the Red Cross was declined.
