Fremont Man Arrested in Connection with Boise Double Murder

A man suspected of arranging the murder of two men in Boise last May was arrested at his Fremont home Tuesday, Boise police said. Anthony Robins Jr., 34, was arrested late Tuesday afternoon and booked into Fremont jail without bail, according to jail records.

Boise authorities are seeking his extradition to Idaho to face murder charges in connection with the shooting deaths of Elliott Bailey, 28, and Travontae Calloway, 27, on May 8. Police said Bailey and Calloway were shot along with an unidentified woman in an apartment in the 2100 block of South Orchard Street in Boise at 11:25 p.m. that night. Robbins is the fourth man arrested in connection with the case.

Samari Winn, 34, of Boise was arrested the day after the shooting. John Douglas, 44, of Reading, Pennsylvania, was arrested in Reading in July and Anton Raider was also arrested in connection with the case, according to police. Idaho prosecutors allege Robbins arranged the killing of the two men and drove Douglas and Winn to the apartment that night.

He allegedly waited outside while Douglas went inside and shot Bailey, Calloway and the woman with a .45 caliber pistol. Robins then drove them away, prosecutors wrote in a criminal complaint. A warrant for Robins’ arrest was issued Monday and he was arrested by Fremont police Tuesday afternoon.

Robins has been charged with two counts of aiding and abetting first degree murder and one count of aiding and abetting attempted murder, according to the complaint.
