Fremont Man Arrested on Suspicion of Multiple Car Burglaries
Kris Sylvester, 28, was arrested and booked on several felony charges, according to police.
Police are working to return stolen property to its rightful owners following the last week's arrest of a 28-year-old man suspected of multiple car burglaries in Fremont, police said.
On April 23, the Fremont Police Department's Street Crimes Unit served a felony warrant for Kris Sylvester at Stevenson Boulevard and Davis Street where they uncovered numerous stolen items during the arrest.
Officers also found property taken from an auto burglary reported earlier that day at Little Flowers Montessori School, according to police. Police were able to return the items to the owner since the arrest was taking place across the street from the school.
Investigators are in the process of identifying other car burglary victims and return stolen credit cards and personal property linked to crimes committed by Sylvester, police said.
Sylvester, a Fremont resident, was booked on suspicion of auto burglary, commercial burglary, possession of stolen property and unauthorized use of credit card, according to police.
