Fremont Man Killed in Crash

FREMONT, CA - A 58-year-old motorcyclist died at the scene of a collision in Fremont this afternoon, according to police.

The victim, a Fremont man whose name has not yet been released, was headed south on Christy Street near Auto Mall Parkway when the collision occurred around 2:34 p.m.

Investigators said he collided with a 2014 Toyota Corolla driven by a 48-year-old man from Tracy, who was not injured and is cooperating with the investigation.

Drugs and alcohol do not appear to be factors, according to police, and the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
