View Of The Lunar Eclipse From Fremont: Photo Of The Day
Today's photo of the day features the glow from the total lunar eclipse on March 3.

FREMONT, CA — It feels like the Bay Area was shortchanged during the most recent lunar eclipse that ruedn the moon into a bloody orange color.
The clouds covered the moon during the early hours of March 3, blocking out the view of the moon. It still made for great pictures though, including this one from Lee Vitale, shared courtesy of her. husband Marc.
Lee took this photograph from the backyard of her home. It shows the glow and hues of the moon wrapped around itself, almost as if staring at a vortex.
