Victim Identified In Fremont Homicide
The suspect was seen riding off on a bike from the home where the murder took place.

FREMONT, CA — Fremont Police have released the identity of a man shot to death in his own home early Monday. However, a suspect has not been arrested.
"The male has been identified as Dominic Sarkar," police reported shortly after noon on Tuesday, "a 56-year-old Fremont resident, who lived at the residence. Sarkar was an executive chef at a Fremont restaurant."
Police have said that they believe the victim was targeted.

"A witness that contacted Fremont PD stated he heard the gunshots and saw a male leaving from the area of the front door of the residence, get onto a bicycle, and pedal away," police report.
The shooting happened at 12:30 a.m. at a home in the 43000 block of Charleston Way. Other residents of the home reported hearing gunshots, but did not see the suspect. Previous Report.
