Fremont Police Investigate Gold Necklace Robbery
Police officials say the woman was pushing a child in a stroller when she was allegedly robbed.
Police in Fremont are investigating the Thursday robbery of a woman who was pushing her child in a stroller. Officers responded to the area of Paseo Padre Parkway and Surry Place on a report of a robbery and learned a woman was pushing her young child in a stroller when a man approached her, grabbed her gold necklace and pulled it off her neck.
The suspect then fled the area and ran south on Paseo Padre Parkway. The suspect is described as a white man, about 6 feet tall and with a thin build. He was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt.
