Fremont Police Investigation Of Bike Fatality Continues
The collision happened Tuesday night at the intersection of Peralta Boulevard and Camden Street.

FREMONT, CA — Police in Fremont are investigating the cause of a collision that killed a bicyclist Tuesday night.
On Tuesday at 9:52 p.m., officers with the Fremont Police Department responded to the intersection of Peralta Boulevard and Camden Street on multiple reports of a collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian.
Responding officers found an injured man in the roadway. The man ultimately died from his injuries police said.

Investigators determined the man was riding a bicycle and traveling on Camden Street when he was struck by a vehicle traveling on Peralta Boulevard.
Police said the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene following the collision and is cooperating with the investigation.

The fatality marked Fremont's third fatal traffic collision in 2023, police said.
