Fremont Police Search For Second Stabbing Suspect; One Detained

FREMONT, CA — Authorities in Fremont were on the lookout Sunday for a man who was potentially involved with a stabbing that injured one person, officials said.

At 11:15 p.m., officers responded to reports of a stabbing in the 39000 Block of Argonaut way, where a victim was located and taken to a local trauma center, according to the Fremont Police Department.

One subject was detained, but officers were still canvasing the area for a second involved person. The suspect was described as a white male adult in his 40's with gray short hair, blue eyes, dressed in a long-sleeve plaid shirt, blue jeans and carrying a large red bag.

The weapon used is still outstanding, police said.
