Missing 15-Year-Old Fremont Girl Sought By Police

Kioni Byrd, 15, was reported missing after she didn't show up for a scheduled pickup at American High School, police said.

FREMONT, CA — Police are asking for the public's help in finding Kioni Byrd, 15, who was reported missing after failing to meet her family for a scheduled pickup at American High School on Friday.

Byrd was last seen at the school between 2 and 3 p.m. Friday before missing the after-school pickup. Police described her as black, 5 feet 7 inches tall, 125 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black and pink sweatshirt, black cutoff sweatpants and white shoes.
