Fremont Police Seek Fatal Hit-And-Run Driver
The victim died about a week after the crash.

FREMONT, CA — Fremont Police are seeking tips from the public that may lead to the arrested of a hit-and-run driver.
A Livermore man, 69-year-old Allen Kwok Keung Sham, died last Wednesday, a week after he was injured in a hit-and-run crash, the Fremont Police Department reports.
No arrests have been made.

Video surveillance from a nearby business shows that Sham was walking west along the right lane of Peralta Boulevard and was struck from behind. The driver did not make any attempt to check on the welfare of the victim.
The crash happened between 10:15 and 10:30 p.m. on June 30. The suspect vehicle is described as a dark-colored sedan. It will likely have moderate damage to its front bumper, engine hood, and possibly the windshield area.
