Fremont Police Seize Ghost Guns, Stolen Weapon
All seven of the guns were seized on the same day in two different cases.
FREMONT, CA — Fremont Police recovered seven guns in two separate cases last Wednesday.
Officers who responded to a report about a person in a vehicle brandishing a weapon recovered six illegal ghost guns.
In the second case, officers recovered a loaded firearm when they investigated a report of a disturbance. That gun was reported stolen in another state.

In a social media post, the department said, "Thank you, officers, for taking another seven illegal firearms off the streets!"
Dozens of residents responded to the post, also offering their appreciation. "This recovery could very well prevented future crimes," Elen Fuentes said. "Thank you for your continued preventative measures."
