Fremont Road Closures Planned Thursday

A Diwali observance will prompt some closures for about 8 hours.

FREMONT, CA — Diwali — a festival celebrated by Hindus, Sikhs, Jains and some Buddhists — will be observed in Fremont Thursday.

The City will close roads from 4 p.m. to midnight near Gurdwara Sahib, 300 Gurdwara Road.

  • Gurdwara Road (between Grau and Mission Blvd.) will be partially closed for the event
  • No left turn will be allowed from Gurdwara Road onto Mission Blvd
  • No left turn will be allowed from Mission Blvd on to Gurdwara Road
