FREMONT, CA — There are just a few weeks left until spring arrives, and the Bay Area is filled with vibrant flowers all over.
But the fall and winter have their own beautiful colors, shown in this picture taken by Malcolm Kimberlin in Fremont's Glenmoor neighborhood after a rainstorm.

The photo features fallen gold leaves of a gingko tree on the ground. Malcolm has been using it as his phone's wallpaper since, and given the colors, you can see why.
I didn't know there was a gingko tree in Fremont. They're so gold, and the contrast from the single brown leaf makes the image appear saturated with color. I'd love to dive into this pile of leaves. Thanks for sharing with our readers, Malcolm!
