Great Blue Heron Hunting: Fremont Photo Of The Day
A heron is reflected in the still murky water of Lake Elizabeth.
FREMONT, CA — Sundar Amartur shared this photo of a Great Blue Heron in Fremont. Sundar told Patch, "Pleasantly surprised to see the bird on Lake Elizabeth today. My first encounter in these parts. Looks like we will see more birds as the weather warms up."
We can only hope! It is remarkably peaceful watching herons and egrets hunting. The fish and frogs would probably disagree!
