Green Heron Fledglings: Photos Of The Day
This series of photos was snapped at an East Bay Regional Park last month.
FREMONT, CA — Gregory J. Brown snapped a series of photos of Green Heron fledglings at Quarry Lakes in Fremont on June 3. Brown told Patch, "The pair I would guess cannot be no more than 2 months old."
Green Herons have a stable population, not endangered, and are seen in the Bay Area year-round.
