Guaranteed Parking at Warm Springs BART Station for Scoop Users
Here's how to lock-in one of those coveted spaces.

FREMONT, CA — BART and the Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC) have launched the Carpool to BART program at the Warm Springs/South Fremont BART Station. The Carpool to BART program is a partnership with Scoop, a carpool app, to guarantee parking at BART parking lots for those who use the app.
Scoop is a free carpool app that connects neighbors and co-workers to fill seats in vehicles traveling in similar directions, allowing users to share commutes and save on commuting costs. Morning and afternoon commutes are separate, so users can drive or ride when they want.
Scoop automatically matches users in a custom, efficient carpool and handles the routing, contact information, and payment.

To participate in the Carpool to BART program, commuters can download the Scoop app on Android or iPhone. Once registered for the service, users can type in the Warm Springs BART Station as their destination and schedule a ride by 9 p.m. the night before their morning commute or by 3 p.m. for that evening’s commute. When matched, instructions on how to get the guaranteed parking space are provided.
The Carpool to BART program has been operating successfully at the Dublin/Pleasanton BART Station since January 2017, and has been expanded to six additional BART stations including the Warm Springs/South Fremont BART Station.
