
FREMONT, CA — A masked man robbed a convenience store in Fremont at gunpoint early Sunday morning, according to police.
The robbery occurred shortly before 12:10 a.m. at the Kwik & Convenient Market at 3157 Walnut Ave.
A suspect came in wearing a black mask, an olive-colored sweatshirt with a design, olive-colored pants and black shoes, and pointed a handgun at the clerk, police said.

He then took out a bag and put cash, alcohol and cigarettes in it before fleeing east. The suspect remains at large but investigators have recovered surveillance video from the store, police said.
