Helicopter Work Postponed In Fremont

FREMONT, CA —Helicopter work that had been planned for Monday and Tuesday in Fremont has been postponed to the week following Thanksgiving, Nov. 30 and Dec. 1.

Between the hours of 8 a.m. and 3 p.m., PG&E will be performing work on a transmission tower located near the intersection of Boyce Road and Auto Mall Parkway. A helicopter is expected to hover in the area for extensive periods of time.

Workers or materials may be line-dropped from the helicopter.

No road closures planned. However, due to the eye-catching nature of the work the Fremont Police Department is reminding drivers to keep their attention on the road to prevent accidents.
