
FREMONT, CA — A fire at a homeless encampment in Fremont Monday evening was contained, the Fremont Fire Department wrote on social media. No injuries were reported.
The fire was reported at 7:06 p.m., according to the PulsePoint app. The sun set around 7:40.
The fire was in an empty trailer in the 41700 block of Christy Street, an industrial area west of Interstate Highway 880 and north of Pacific Commons Shopping Center. The trailer was destroyed by the flames.
