Hopkins' Advanced Orchestra of Fremont A Featured Performer in California All-State Music Education Conference in February

Advanced Orchestra of Hopkins Junior High School, Fremont, is the only string orchestra selected to perform at the conference in San Jose.

Congratulations to the Advanced Orchestra of Hopkins Junior High School---it has been selected as a "Featured Performer" at the California All-State Music Education Conference (CASMEC), to be held in San Jose February 16 to 19, 2017! Only six ensembles across the state were selected this year. Hopkins will be one of the two middle school ensembles represented, and it will be the only orchestra featured at the event.

The Hopkins Advanced Orchestra was chosen to perform in 2012. It will be their second time in 2017 to be performing at the CASMEC, in front of an audience of several hundred music teachers/educators from throughout California. Mr. Gregory Conway, Director of Instrumental Music at Hopkins, looks forward to working with his students to again produce a spectacular performance!

The following lists the six ensembles that have been selected to perform at the CASMEC 2017:
