The Hunter: Photo Of The Week

An abandoned cat is hunting for dinner at an East Bay Regional Park.

FREMONT, CA — This beautiful photo of a cat hunting for dinner in Coyote Hills Regional Park in Fremont was snapped by Patch reader Arup Kumar De. He is a serious photographer, and passed along that he used a Nikon D500 with Nikkor 200-500 Telephoto zoom. The results are stunning.

Arup tells us that the cat is abandoned and seems to have habituated to living in the wild "and started enjoying freedom."

Thanks for sharing this photo, Arup!
