One Injured in 2-Alarm Fremont Apartment Fire

Firefighters have put out the blaze.

Fremont, CA -Firefighters have extinguished a two-alarm fire that broke out at a Fremont apartment complex this afternoon, according to fire officials.

The blaze was first reported at 2:54 p.m. at Glenview Apartments at 4400 Central Ave., Fremont Fire Division Chief Diane Hendry said.

Once at the scene, firefighters were able to quickly contain the fire to one unit, according to Hendry. Fire officials wrote on Twitter at 3:21 p.m. that the blaze had been extinguished.

One person suffered smoke inhalation and is being treated, fire officials said.
