Mail Theft In Fremont: 3 Arrests
The suspects were arrested on suspicion of identity theft, mail theft, and narcotics violations.
FREMONT, CA — Fremont Police arrested three people on Wednesday on suspicion of mail theft and other crimes.
According to police, they received a report of a suspicious vehicle in the area of Black Mountain Circle and King Avenue. Two officers were dispatched to check out the report.
"Officer Hawkins and Officer Madsen determined they had all stolen mail from residents who lived on Black Mountain Ci and the surrounding neighborhoods," police said in a release. "The three suspects were arrested for identity theft, mail theft, and narcotic violations."

Police made a point of noting that they continue to patrol Fremont and respond to calls, even though marches and civil unrest are taking place.
